Tamil Nadu seminar series

The full schedule

August covers the south and west, September the north and delta. Every session runs 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and the presentation repeats through the evening — so come any time within the window.

Venues are announced city-wise. Your nearest city is assigned when you register.

On the table

Eight study destinations, compared honestly

Each country has a different cost, a different licensing route home, and a different risk profile. We put them next to each other rather than selling one.

What the evening covers

You leave with numbers, not a brochure

🩺

MBBS abroad

Which universities your NEET score and marksheet actually open, and what the FMGE or NExT route looks like after graduation.

Nursing pathways

BSc and BSN routes, plus what NCLEX, Gulf licensure and the German Anerkennung process genuinely require.

🐾

Veterinary medicine

BVSc abroad under the VCI Foreign Veterinary Degree rules — including which intakes and mediums of instruction qualify.

🧾

Full cost sheet

Tuition, hostel, food, flights, visa and one-time charges for each country — written down, per year, before you decide.

📁

Documents & admission

Eligibility check, apostille, NMC eligibility certificate, visa file and the realistic timeline for the 2026 intake.

👨‍👩‍👧

Parent counselling

A separate slot for parents to ask about safety, food, travel home and what happens if the student wants to return.

Paying for it

Education loan assistance

Most families decide against a programme on cost before they ever check what a loan would actually cover. Bring your income documents to the seminar and we will work through the real monthly number with you, for either route.

Need education loan

We prepare the file, the bank decides

A loan application is won or lost on documentation. This is the part we do with you, at no charge, whether or not you enrol through us.

  1. Lender shortlist. Which public sector banks, private banks and NBFCs currently lend for your specific university and country — not a generic list.
  2. Eligibility check first. Co-applicant income, existing EMIs, CIBIL and collateral position, reviewed before you apply, so you don’t collect rejections.
  3. Document pack. Admission letter, fee structure on university letterhead, KYC, income proof, property papers and valuation where security is involved.
  4. Disbursement schedule. Matching tranches to the university’s semester fee calendar so a payment deadline never lands before the money does.
Self funded

Plan the full outflow, not just tuition

Self-funding families are usually surprised by the second year, not the first. We map the whole four-to-six year outflow before you commit.

  1. Year-by-year sheet. Tuition, hostel, food, insurance and university one-time charges, separated so you can see what actually recurs.
  2. Remittance planning. How to stagger transfers across a financial year, and why splitting between two parents can change your tax position.
  3. Currency exposure. What a 10% move against the rupee does to your remaining years, and what that means for the country you pick.
  4. Partial loan option. Many families fund year one themselves and borrow later. We’ll show you whether that helps or costs you.
₹7.5 lakh Standard collateral-free ceiling under IBA guidelines. Above it, banks usually want security or a strong co-applicant — some approved-institution schemes go higher.
Section 80E Interest paid on an education loan is deductible with no upper limit, for up to eight years from the year repayment begins.
Course + 6–12 months Typical moratorium. Repayment usually starts after the course ends plus a grace period, though interest may accrue during it.

The tax difference between the two routes

Money sent abroad under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme attracts Tax Collected at Source. Which rate applies depends on where the money came from.

Nil
Funded by an education loan
No TCS on education remittances financed by a loan from a specified financial institution, with no threshold.
2%
Self funded
Applies only to the amount above ₹10 lakh remitted in a financial year, per PAN. Nothing is collected below that.

Rates as applicable for FY 2026–27 under Section 206C(1G). TCS is not an additional tax — it is credited against your PAN and adjusted when you file your return. Confirm the current position with your bank or a tax adviser before you remit.

We are not a lender, and we are not an agent for any bank. We do not sanction loans, cannot promise approval, and take no commission on any loan you are offered. The decision rests entirely with the lender. Be careful of anyone who tells you otherwise — and never pay a fee to have a loan “arranged”.

Before you come

What we will not tell you

Overseas medical education is sold with a lot of promises that nobody can keep. Here is what you will not hear at this seminar:

  • No guaranteed admission, seat blocking, or “confirmed” visa outcomes.
  • No promise of a job, residency or PR in any country after graduation.
  • No claim that a foreign degree is automatically valid in India — screening exams and council registration are mandatory and are the student’s responsibility.
  • No inflated pass percentages. Where a university’s FMGE record is weak, we say so.
  • No pressure to pay on the day. Nothing is collected at the venue.

Questions

Before you register

Is there any entry fee?
No. Entry is free and nothing is collected at the venue. Registration only helps us plan seating and assign your nearest city.
Which session is mine, and when?
All 38 districts are covered across two rounds — August for the southern and western districts, September for the north, Chennai and the delta. Use the district finder above and it will show you your city, date and day. If September is yours, register now anyway; we will confirm the venue closer to the date.
I live in Chennai. Which of the two venues should I pick?
Both run on 6 September, one in north Chennai and one in the south. Pick whichever side is easier to reach — the content is identical and there is no difference in the counselling team. We send both addresses so you can decide on the day.
Can I come without a NEET score?
Yes. NEET qualification is required for MBBS abroad if you intend to practise in India later, but nursing, veterinary and allied health routes have different eligibility. We will tell you exactly which applies to you.
Should parents come?
Please bring them. Most of the questions that matter — money, safety, travel, what happens if things go wrong — come from parents, and there is a dedicated slot for them.
Can I get a loan for a foreign medical university?
Often yes, but not universally — lenders maintain their own lists, and some foreign medical colleges are not on them. That is exactly why we check lender-by-lender for your specific university before you apply, rather than after a rejection.
Do you charge for loan assistance?
No. We help prepare the file and shortlist lenders at no charge, and we take no commission from any bank or NBFC. We are not a lender and cannot promise sanction — that decision is the lender's alone.
What should I bring?
Your NEET scorecard if you have one, Class 12 marksheet or hall ticket, and a rough idea of your annual budget. That is enough for us to shortlist on the spot.
When is the venue announced?
Two to three days before your city’s date, on WhatsApp, to the number you register with.
